I started this story in my first Creative Writing class during my time at SNHU. It was supposed to be a short story, but at the time, it just kept going and going in my head. I’ve always wanted to write a book, though, so I ran with it. Then Dad went into the hospital and subsequently passed away, and I lost damn near all motivation for it. I’m still determined to finish it, though. Even if it sucks. I feel like it reads horribly, but I don’t know. I enjoy the writing process nonetheless. Truthfully, though, I’ve never been much of a storyteller myself. I kind of lack that super creative and imaginative gene that so many writers possess. I feel like I get too technical with the grammar and the spelling and then completely lose track of the tone of the writing and the story that I wanted to tell. Fixing other people’s writing is so much easier than staying on track with my own. Perhaps sharing what I have so far will get the creative juices flowing with this again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bear in mind, I have not read through this in over a year. I haven’t added anything new in months, the last time I worked on it at all was at training academy back in November, and I think I added maybe a paragraph then. So, be brutally honest in your opinions. Promise, I can take it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
